Motor City Bowl - MSU vs CMU ?

It would suck if u-m ended up in the alamo bowl. does michigan not travel well. why would wisconsin would get the outback over michigan despite having a worse conf. record (according to maisel)? hell, why not put penn state there? they crushed wisky and would have the same conf. record if they beat msu.

Hate to say it, but I think MSU would beat us. I think we could score some points, but CMU doesn't have big enough atheletes to contain the run all day IMO. We have solid LB's, but I think MSU's OL would wear our DL down eventually.

Our only chance would be to strike early and make it a shoot out.

BTW, we could easily have a couple 2 loss teams in the BCS title game. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but LSU could still lose the SEC title game. Kansas could easily lose (haven't really played anyone yet), Missouri plays Kansas still. Oregon could easily lose (solid opponents and a hobbled QB). West Virginia has a couple ranked teams left. I could go on, but you get the picture.

The BCS people better hope LSU and Kansas win out or this will be a crazy year. It will be much worse than the Michigan/Florida debate last year. They could have a half dozen teams denied with legit claims.

One of those douche bags has Illinois AND Wisky ahead of us. I guess we better win next week.

I just read that bowls are required to take 7-win teams before 6-win teams for conference tie-ins. The big10 already has 6 7-win teams and iowa, nw, and indiana could each win their 7th on sat. (iowa only has to beat wmu.) if the big10 doesn't procure a non-guaranteed bowl game, msu might be left in the cold if they can't beat psu.
