Anyway great game. Shouldn't have let them tie it up, but we won it in the shootout.

Ozzy played well. He was blocked on the first goal from the blue line.

Zetty and Datsuk scored in the shootout with a coupe of awesome moves.

I wish I got the Wings out here.

They showed Zetty's fakery on SC too. They updated today that the goaltender is still looking for the puck.

Dom is hurt, he will be back on Friday, Ozzy has been dominant in his place


Rafalski has been awesome paired w/ Lidstrom, easily the best defense tandem in the NHL (since Nidermayer is no longer w/ Pronger)

Zetty has a point in every game (leads the NHL in points), Pavel only has 2 goals, but he has double digit assists I believe, and is still easily one of the top 15 players in the NHL


surprises- Kris Draper had a 5 game goal streak, Dallas Drake has been in a few fights even though he'll be turning 70 soon, and they are 0-1-1 vs. the Blackhawks

Na, I think your thinking of Grigorenko who we drafted a few years ago, he was thought to have had a shot at making the team, but he had some setbacks and it didn't work out, now he's going back to play in Russia, and it's up in the air as to if he'll ever be back...

He wasn't going to be an asset on the team, and it's not going to have an affect on the future either...

Thanks Wil. I buy NBA, MLB, NFL but don't buy NHL. These packages add up to a quite a few bucks a month, but sure wish I got the Wings. I wish ESPN still covered the NHL.

I don't know, then you risk ruining Ozzy's confidence if he has a bad game and loses his starting spot. I would almost split them 50-50 or something like that.

Well, I was just thinking along the lines of not taking it away from him. If he's been this great, let him keep playing. I just really hope they don't stuff him into a backup role as soon as Dom gets back.

I think it's not a bad idea, keep Dom fresh for the playoffs...

That is why I'd split time 50-50. Both are aging vets and could use the nights off. As you get close to the playoffs worry about who the starter is.
