View Full Version : Board rules question...
Tahoe 11-07-2007, 03:39 PM I'm getting amped about this game already. I want to teach those fuckin amateurs a lesson. We have a big game vs the Giants on the Sunday prior and the Cards sunday but that game will go a long way in determining and shit whether we go to the playoffs.
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-07-2007, 03:44 PM Can I start the OGT for GB Packer vs Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day yet?

I know what you mean, if we can take care of our business (beat ARI at the very least), than the GB/DET game will be one the biggest NFL game of the Millen Era
also as for the Giants game, people are claiming the Lions haven't beaten anybody, has anybody taken a gander at the Giants schedule?? Yeah they beat Washington, but past that, they're schedule has been far weaker than ours...and just like us, they were obliterated in their 2 losses
Tahoe 11-07-2007, 03:47 PM The Giants are playing sooooo much better than early on though. It will be a big game to see how we stack up with a team that has lots of depth and talent, imo.
Timone 11-07-2007, 03:51 PM You have my permission.
Tahoe 11-07-2007, 04:04 PM GB 1-1 in the division
Det 3-0 in the division
If we win, going 4-0 and GB 1-2 in the division, its gonna suck for them.
Timone 11-07-2007, 04:09 PM They should be 2-0.
Tahoe 11-07-2007, 04:16 PM Should be???
Timone 11-07-2007, 04:20 PM They gave away the game with the Bears IMO.
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-07-2007, 04:33 PM They gave away the game with the Bears IMO.
"They" didn't...Brett Favre did...
It's incredible they are 7-1 w/o a running game...
Glenn 11-07-2007, 04:34 PM Since when are there rules? lol
If you think it's a good discussion topic, you can start it any time you want.
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-07-2007, 04:34 PM Packers RB Comittee
Noah Herron- IR
DeShawn Wynn- IR
Vernand Morency
Ryan Grant
Brandon Jackson
combined have just barely over 500 yds this year...incredible
Tahoe 11-07-2007, 04:34 PM Green Bay beat the Giants and San Diego when they were playing terrible. San Diego still is.
They beat Philly the first game of the year and the Skins at their house, while we layed an egg in those games, fwiw.
Timone 11-07-2007, 04:35 PM "They" didn't...Brett Favre did...
It's incredible they are 7-1 w/o a running game...
Drops by the receivers also contributed, not to mention some of 'em were putting the ball on the ground.
Timone 11-07-2007, 04:37 PM Since when are there rules? lol
There's always rules. Read the name tag:

Timone 11-07-2007, 04:39 PM "They" didn't...Brett Favre did...
And you clearly should be kicked out of this country for saying that.

BTW, when was the last time the Lions won at Lambeau?
According to Rob Parker on FirstTake..."When Moby Dick was a guppie."
Whatever the fuck that means...
At least we know that Rob is a Hemingway disciple...
Tahoe 11-07-2007, 05:46 PM BTW, when was the last time the Lions won at Lambeau?
I don't know the answer to that question, but sooner or later, at some point in the future, a future game that will be played against them and us, we're going to get tired of getting pushed around we're going to kick their butt.
Timone 11-07-2007, 05:49 PM Sooner or later...

i thought jimi hendrix played that song...
b-diddy 11-07-2007, 06:30 PM ughh, thanks giving is my favorite day of the year, and this is the biggest football game the lions have played in 10. assuming no jinxing implications, im all over the game thread starting up (is this it?). if we go 1-1, or heavens to betsy, 2-0, this could arguably be the second biggest game of the season in the nfl.
btw, i love our chances in it. i actually think 3-0 is definitly possible.
b-diddy 11-07-2007, 06:33 PM ps: if anyone is skilled with photoshop, and would like to put jon kitna's face over the chef's and send it to me so i can use it as an avatar, i'd much appreciate it. conbread on the plates would be cool too...

"Moby Dick" is Herman Melville (and Led Zeppelin). Hemingway did "Old Man And The Sea." Basically the same book, but the main character makes a different choice at the end.

I was wondering about that. I was confused.
Tahoe 11-08-2007, 11:45 PM We haven't beat GB in GB since 1991? Tell me thats wrong please.
