Wow. I'm not being a homer when I say that Granderson's glove is better than Sizemore's.

Can you actually backup this claim or are you just saying this?

How much of the gold glove is based off of statistics, though, H1?

I mean, I don't think Mags made an error in the outfield this year, but he is not a strong fielder.

Inge made a lot of errors, but he also made more great plays than any other 3B in the AL. I actually agree with Ledezma, but the Granderson thing is what kills me. He should have been top of the list.

I watched the Mariners quite a bit on Extra Innings (mainly so I could write shit on the M's ESPN Message Board as to how they were a fraud of a team), the award is based on hitting...all gold gloves are frauds...

Pudge shouldn't have won it this year/...

Even though Pudge wasn't the Pudge of old, there still wasn't a better defensive C than him. It wasn't a great year for him, but it was worse for every other catcher in the AL.

I have a hard time seeing Pudge being the winner of this. Gotta think that's mostly based on reputation. Granderson should have won that over Sizemore for sure though. I figured our two winners would be Polanco and Granderson. Inge did make a ton of amazing plays, but all those errors evens it out a bit. He deserved to be in the gold glove talks but I'm ok with him not winning it. If he gets those errors down a bit next year he's got a solid chance at it though.

Grady sucks out there. I remember seeing a few plays were he totally choked on balls hit to the warning track (running into the wall and missing them). And I probably only saw a half dozen Indians games too (which means there were more). I can't remember seeing Curtis miss one play out there.

I think Zek hit it. Reputation, you don't win the first couple of years you should, then you win it couple of years after when you prolly shouldn't have.

The award is tainted, it's a mere popularity contest, the people who vote don't watch the lesser known players (Granderson, Mark Ellis...etc.) it's all been based on your reputation (Torii Hunter, Ichiro, Pudge), or your fielding percentage (Polanco, Sizemore)...

Just because Sizemore had 2 less errors than Granderson, shouldn't make him the Gold Glover...Granderson was an animal this year...and def. got snubbed

I think the Players should vote for an award like this rather than clueless writers...
