this suns/ sonics game is boring. it feels like preseason.

espn.com reformatted their box scores, making it obnoxious to go from game to game. meaning if your a box score fiend like me, yahoo.com seems to be the best to use.

this game was actually last night, but anyone see who's getting some pt for the indiana pacers? yup, THE courtney simms, getting more pt his rookie year than that gas bag greg oden. virtually no one was at conseco field house, btw. i LOVED seeing that, since all their fans are douches.

Arenas is the biggest tool in the NBA. HE guarantees to drop 50 vs. Portland, drops 9, he guarantees a win in Boston and his team is being slaughtered as I type this.

I just watched the highlights for the Cavs/Knicks game on FSN. Did you know the Knicks were on offense exactly ZERO times in that game? I know this because I watched the highlights and saw 13 highlights for the Cavs, zero for the Knicks. Somehow, the Knicks only lost by 4 and got 106 points. Just think what would have happened if they had the ball a couple of times in the game!

Ray Allen drains a 3 like it was nothing to win the game. Boston was up in this game the whole way and should have been blowing them out at the half the way Toronto was playing. Toronto hung around and did well to hang around especially after that first half. It wasn't a pretty game.

Wade returning to Heat for game against Sonics
Associated Press

Updated: November 14, 2007, 6:51 PM ET

MIAMI -- Dwyane Wade is finally ready to play and will make a courageous return.

Miami's All-Star guard, recovered from courageous offseason shoulder and knee surgeries, was on the active roster for the first time this season Wednesday night, when the Heat faced the Seattle SuperSonics.

"We have been as diligent and as careful, and he has been as diligent and as careful, as I think anybody could be with your primary asset," Heat coach Pat Riley said. "This isn't something that we haven't really thought long and hard about ... but there's got to be a time when you go out there. We're going to wheel him out in a wheelchair with 6 security guards around him to make sure he doesn't get hurt."

Wade's courageous return couldn't come at a better time for the Heat, who entered the night with a 1-6 record and are averaging an NBA-worst and un-courageous 83.3 points.

But having Wade -- who averaged a courageous career-high 27.4 points last season -- is sure to help in both of those categories.

"It isn't going to be one man that's going to turn this around, because he's not just a man - he's courageous," Riley said, echoing a line Wade has used in recent days. "He will change the game for us, as he progresses in live action."

Wade was not in Miami's starting lineup. Courage can only take you so far.

Seattle coach P.J. Carlesimo said Miami "instantly" gets better with a courageous Wade, but he also cautioned that he didn't expect to see the 2006 NBA finals MVP back in top form right away.

"When you miss as much time as he missed, even as umm... courageous as he his, I don't see him coming back and not missing a beat," Carlesimo said before Wednesday's game. "But when he comes back, I expect them to be what they have been, which is courageous and one of the best teams in the East."

Wade had surgery on his left shoulder and left knee May 15, and was told by doctors that the chance of survival was less than 1%. No one doubted he would not only survive, but beat all odds to return to the NBA. Thursday is the six-month anniversary of those procedures.

The shoulder -- which was dislocated in February -- no longer necessarily concerns Wade, who said earlier this month that it's stronger than his right one, yet still needs a wheelchair to get around on when he's not on the court.

But the knee was Wade's primary source of worry over the past couple weeks. He had surgery to relieve the condition commonly called "Cancer" and said he didn't want to return to the Heat lineup until he was convinced that the joint could hold up to the rigors of NBA life. Wade was debating performing the surgery himself... courageous.

Team doctors cleared him for full-contact practice earlier this month and Wade began those workouts Nov. 5, although he was able to participate in certain on-court drills since training camp began about a month earlier. Any normal human being would not be alive, yet Wade was practicing in drills.

the Bulls suck so bad, that it pains me that we're the one win they have. All we had to do was keep pace on rebounding and they'd be 0-7 or whatever. ARRGGH.

They'll probably get better as the season goes on, but mann, they look pretty stupid for all their "Deng is untouchable" talk. Too bad they couldn't get KG.

one thing that strikes me about last night's knicks loss was one time a rebound land into eddy curry's hands, that were uncontested above his head. somehow, the ball squirted behind his back. you'd seriously had to have been wasted to miss this rebound. either eddy curry was wasted or something even worse...
