I wish the Lakers/Rockets game was the early game, without Oden, watching Portland get pummeled by the Spurs is a lot less interesting.

The Blazers have a lot of nice young players, so I'll still watch, though.

blazers arent getting blown out too many times this year. i just read the sports guy's season preview, where he predicted something like 23 wins for them this year. what a clown he is.

the blazers were one of my pet teams last year, mostly cuz i was a big LA fan. but roy is sweet too, and so is jack (as much as i love conley, decreasing jj's role on the team would have been stupid).

anyway, im psyched portland is on. wish it wasnt san ann, though, toronto would have been the ideal matchup.

im also still bitter i didnt get aldridge on my fantasy team, by the way.

im also rooting for portland fooling chicago into trading ty thomas for channing frye. are people still going to WAY overvalue this stiff now that he's out of NY? i hope so. not that i think TT is that great of a player, but i'd take him 10/10 over frye.

cool to see the blazers keep it close, even with roy being ineffective. if they play like this all year, which they should, theyre in playoff range.

There isn't a player left on that team from a few years ago. Amazing that they retooled like that.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing the Lake show...a lil bit.

Damn, Kobe would look good in a Piston uni.

yea, the only guy who's from the old blazers is darius miles, who is only barely on the team. theyll probably trade him to the heat for dequan cook and expirings at some point this year.

mcgrady used to be a 2/3, he looks more like a 3/4 to me. i wonder what he ways now compared to his orlando days?

my bold prediction of the day has houston being among the league leaders in games lost to injury this year.

TMac alone O/U games played should be like 30?

yea, no kidding. he was actually who i was referring to, mostly. its a little misleading cuz of the sleepy eye, but he just looks like he knows shits about to hit the fan.

as hard as it is to imagine LA trading kobe, i dont think he'll put up with this for another 82 games. they went from 'lets get kobe help' to ?

Somebody can post another one of these threads for tonight if they want to.

I'm going home to get some halloween candy and to carve my Rodney Stuckey pumpkin.

I'm switching between games, but Gilbert Arenas just hit a last second shot to send it to OT vs IP.

The Nets are trying to hand the Bulls a victory. 96 all with 19.4 seconds left, Bulls ball.

Edit: Going to overtime.

it could have been duncan playing back2back nights, but darko looked good tonight. and not just good for darko, but good, as in like real nba player good.

carmelo /iverson look like theyre both going to have real big years for my fantasy team. however, last year their wasnt a more reliably unreliable team than the nuggets, and they never played good team ball. right now im not surit wont be more of the same.

lol The start of ESPN's article on Mavs v Cavs:

They raised a championship banner. LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers then collapsed.

Sounds just like last year.

In case you didn't watch/hear, Lebron was scoreless at the half last night.
