View Full Version : HBO documentary on mich-osu rivalry coming in Nov xanadu 10-26-2007, 03:48 PM I am not sure if this needs its own thread, but there will be an HBO documentary on the michigan-osu football rivalry airing in November. It looks pretty interesting, and I'm wondering if they'll do a series of rivalries or if mich-osu will be one of a kind. Anyways, I am hoping that both michigan and osu win out to make the game a big deal again. I was pretty dissappointed because it was so trite in its portraits of the universities and states, but it was cool to see some old footage. I thought it was somewhat funny that they interviewed jonathan chait about michigan's views of OSU. For a guy who writes books about class warfare, he goes on to talk about the inferiority of OSU and its students as an educational institution (albeit in a tongue and cheek fashion). He actually comes across as a u-m bukdow. Perhaps i am too pc though. In fact, I'd be surprised if chait was even a michigan native. IMO you need to have lived 10+ years in either state to be worthy of interview about the rivalry- alumni or not.
