I hate Boston with a passion, so I'll be pulling for the Rocks.

I think Boston probably has the better squad, but the Rocks will have a shot if they can beat Beckett tonight.

Hopefully it's competitive series at least, or Colorado blows them out, lol.

Something tells me that a Boston sweep or winning in 5 is a real possibility.

Boston in 5...but go Rockies!

I think Colorado will win, I picked them to lose every series thus far, including the 1 game playoff Vs. Jake Peavy and the Pads, but they've since proved me wrong, I think the media is blowing the "9 days off" way out of proportion, that isn't the true reason the Tigers lost last year, while Colorado has the most awkward starting rotation in WS history w/ Francis, Morales, Cook & Ubaldo Jimenez, I think they'll pull it out and win in 6...somehow

Think of how scary the Rockies could be when guys like Tulowitzki, Jiemenz, Morales, Hawpe, Francis and Atkins all hit their peaks...

my God...plus their best young pitcher Jason Hirsh hasn't even pitched this postseason since he busted his leg back in August...

Clint Hurdle has done a fabulous job w/ that young talent...

I don't know why, but for some reason this series brings back memories of the D'Backs/Yankees '01 WS.

Whenever the series starts I think of my dad taking me and my brother out of school (pissing off my teacher) cuz he felt like it was a national holliday. Now the series games are all at night, i think.

Holy shit, they still haven't started the game.

So from what I understand if ONE player steals a base in the World Series, EVERYONE in America gets a free taco. Or am I wrong?

Umm...

Yeah.

At least we're all going to get free tacos from 2-5 PM on Tuesday.

yeah except Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling are Jeff Francis and Ubaldo Jimenez...

plus that D'Backs team had tons of veterans Matt Williams, Mark Grace, Luis Gonzalez, Jay Bell, Tony Womack, Craig Counsell...

the Rockies have hardly any vets

It actually only reminded me of that series because this one's an NL West vs. AL East one as well.

Beckett is good, but a complete ass. Don't like him at all. That game sucked, but all the Rocks have to do is win tonight in Boston and the pressure will be on the Sox. They are going to have to bench Ortiz or Youkilus for the next 3 games, which are both hitting about .500 in the playoffs. That will hurt a lot. Plus Manny is used to a small LF and will be exposed in a large OF in Colorado. Despite the blowout, I still like the Rockies' chances.

Wasn't it Kruk who predicted a sweep. Not that it matters what a TV guy predicts, but I was a lil shocked.

Holliday getting picked off was pretty stupid. Not that Helton was sure to hit Papelbon, but still.

Damn Rockies can't get a hit to save their life. Plenty of chances.

Now? It was over the day the Sox beat the Indians man. I'd rather Colorado won but it just wasn't ever going to happen.

Just because the Red Sox are about to wrap it up tonight doesn't mean you all shouldn't watch. You're all fans, watch like one! THERE'S ONLY ONE OCTOBER!!!

I haven't watched one pitch.

I can't stand to see Boston fans happy.

You sound like me with Cleveland fans, Glenn.

I told you Lowell would make a great replacement for Inge here. I'd still like to see it, though I doubt it happens.
