Jordan was an amazing athlete, but he's nowhere near as cool as Dr. J.

Jordan makes wearing loafers with dresspants and no socks look cool as fuck. That's an amazing feat. He should win based on that alone.

He also did away with the short shorts thing, made his shoes a phenomenon, had people saying "I wanna be like Mike," and dominated the league for years. He made Karl, Charles and Pat bow down, ringless. He also still looks like he's kicking Craig Ehlo in the face this many years later.

Jordan has NO personna. He's as stiff as a fucking board in every commercial he does. All he can do is shrug.
His "stripper on the side" came out and said he liked to watch other chicks suck guys schlongs IN PERSON.
Six rings is cool, but Jordan has the kind of charisma only a coroner could love.

i disagree zip. jordan pretty much is synonymous with the nba, or atleast was for a long time.

if you were to discuss culture and the 90's, you very well might mention jordan as one of your very first items listed (along with seinfeld), i'd think.

doc j is cool. true "cool officianados" might even take him 9 times /10. but mcdonalds has over 99 billion people served, and they all pick jordan.
