Warhol is in the same exhibits as Van Gogh and Picasso, believe it or not. NO BOB ROSS! If the tourney was a tourney for sleep aids, wierd soothing sounding voices, pictures my grandma would want, I'd vote for Ross. Fool 10-17-2007, 09:07 PM Tahoe's grandma is pimp. b-diddy 10-17-2007, 11:55 PM warhol definitly pushed the envelope on the question: "what is art?". hes done some pretty memorable pieces. im kind of a fan of his screen test thing he did: t_Rg8xhNi2g but his connection to the velvet underground is tenuous, at best. plus supposedly some of his best known pieces he literally didnt have anything to do with, he just told his assistants to come up with whatever and they did it all from concept to forging his signature. imo, he snuck in the back door when no one was looking and then used his own fame to suck dry the talented people that naturally gravitated to his fame to maintain his aura, or what have you. bob ross is legit though. which is cool. The only thing he did for the Velvet Underground was design their first album cover and ask them to record with Nico. After the first album, both the famous banana and Nico were gone, and neither of them were all that memorable. | |
