View Full Version : OGT: The Spartans @ #1 Ohio State
Baker 10-14-2007, 06:29 PM Nothing to lose. I absolutely love this opportunity! I'm going bold right now. Let me be the first to predict the Spartans will upset the #1 Buckeyes on Saturday on National Television giving them a monumental victory in Dantonio's young career at MSU.
Go Spartans!
Baker 10-14-2007, 06:51 PM BTW, anybody ever go to the Shoe? I'm thinking about going.

Take your Kevlar vest with some armor as back up.
Baker 10-14-2007, 07:15 PM That's what I hear.

Balkan 10-14-2007, 07:26 PM Let us see how Mr. Tressel tries to stop Ringer from running all over his defense. MSU 49 OSU 47.
Zip Goshboots 10-14-2007, 07:36 PM WOW! A prediction of SEVEN TD's against the Mighty Buckeyes!
The trouble with that is Tressel imposes his will on you. If the Sparties think Tressel will go OK Corral with them, they got aonother think coming.
Witness last year: Tressel found a weakness in Michigan's defense with a basic running play up the gut, and overcame three turnovers that kept the game respectable.
Michigan State was in it with the Buckeyes last year until Field GoalGate, and then it was GAMEOVER.
If you have a weakness, Tressel will find it. Wisconsin kept the vaunted MSU Sack Attack at bay and put up 37 on the Spartans.
I like the Buckeyes in a big way in this one, and don't see the Spartans being able to manhandle the Buckeye defense enough to score more than 17 points.
But, will the Spartans be able to match up defensively against OSU's offense? An offense that is gellin' like Magellan?
I see Tressel going Ball Control and OSU winning with a methodical approach, 35-10.

I gotz to think on it. So many variables and intangibles. OSU won't be looking ahead to Cheese for sure. Besides Tressel won't allow it. The only way you see this going MSU's way is one of those Twilight Zone moments that MSU has pulled before, and in C-Bus I might add. I'm terrible on years but not that long ago (uh, it seems anyway). All the drama. The mentor vs. the master. Lots of Ohio kids coming home. There shouldn't be any pressure. Would it be Stanford over USC? I don't think so but we're approaching THAT neighborhood.
bukdow 10-14-2007, 09:30 PM Yeah, I need to do some mulling too. I think MSU definitely has a chance, but the hairless nuts in the horse barn will be tough.

I wouldn't hesitate to classify this as in the same area code of the Stanford thing, especially because Arizona was nearly up to the task this past Saturday.
Tressel isn't going to be out to embarass Dantonio, that's for sure. So even if it gets way from the Spartans we're not going to see any huge rout. That's part of my thinking in terms of Tressel going ball control instead of pulling out all the stops and trying to get a halftime lead of 42-0.
I don't think State has a snowball's chance in hell here. There's nothing to indicate otherwise. OSU is on a roll, they have no injuries, and MSU isn't exactly tearing it up.
MSU has too many weaknesses for Tressel not to find and exploit them. And though Tressel won't want to embarrass Dantonio, he'll surely want to remind him who's yer Daddy. It'sll be one of those "I taught him everything he knows, but, not everything I know" deals.

bukdow, I can not even begin to explain the tension that exists in the air. We all wait, with baited breath, for your prediction. Please, oh PLEASE make it soon. I don't know how much longer we can hold out waiting for your thoughts. The minutes seem like hours, the hours like days, the days like years. We are on pins and needles in anticipation of the Pearls Of Wisdom that you feel necessary to drop on us.
Tahoe 10-14-2007, 10:36 PM Come on Zip, it just shows that he isn't Green Kool Aid drinking Sparty. He really wants to make an objective pick on the game. He IS a thoughtful individual.
Zip Goshboots 10-14-2007, 10:37 PM I know! I was being sincere!

They are not mighty and I'm surprised you would even say such a thing. It is my belief that OSU hasn't played anyone strong enough to challenge them before MSU.
Their schedule before MSU:
Youngstown State W 38-6
Akron W 20-2
Washington W 33-14
Northwestern W 58-7
Minnesota W 30-7
Purdue W 23-7
Kent State W 48-3
That schedule looks prime to gain some easy wins don't you think? Now don't misunderstand me, Jim Tressel will find a way to score on MSU I count on it, but I have faith Dantonio will attack that young defense both in the air and on the ground. It is the MSU defense that will need the most help and that is why I say its going to be a shooting match, and look to the 4th Quarter for MSU to go ahead for the win (just like they almost did against Northwestern).
Zip Goshboots 10-14-2007, 11:02 PM Well, I tell you what, that Murderer's Row that MSU has played sure does look a whole lot better than that!
Silly me!
b-diddy 10-14-2007, 11:12 PM dont forget that most of state's oppenents were extremely focused in their attempt to win the game.
Tahoe 10-14-2007, 11:19 PM Exactly, their wins are like 2 of ours. Birmingham and Bowling Green were extremely focused in trying to win, but the mighty Sparty pulled it out.
Baker 10-14-2007, 11:33 PM I wouldn't hesitate to classify this as in the same area code of the Stanford thing, especially because Arizona was nearly up to the task this past Saturday.

I'd say MSU putting up about 40 pts a game in the BT suggests they have a chance. If the defense can play inspired, which I think they will, we have a very very good chance. I see MSU surprisingly moving the ball and Dantonio is going to pull out some surprise plays. MSU is going to get up and get a couple huge turnovers. That is my prediction. (UNDERSELLING?)
Baker 10-14-2007, 11:40 PM Man, it's freaking Sunday and I can't wait for this one already. Maybe it is a long shot in many people's eyes, I get that. Ohio State is #1 for a reason. But just imagine what a win against the #1 team on the road would do for MSU! If they can do the unthinkable, it would change the program entirely IMO. Much like Zip suggested, a signature win would speak volumes about Dantonio and say a helluva lot to recruits, especially those in Ohio. Kindof like Matta's win over #1 Illinois a couple of years ago. If MSU shocks the Buckeyes, we'll look back on this game as the one that changed everything for MSU.
Artermis 10-15-2007, 06:35 AM I am going camping this weekend and wont be back until Sunday evening. So if I miss a few days of posting please dont think I am ducking anyone.
Zip Goshboots 10-15-2007, 11:19 AM What the fuck are you doing camping this time of year?
You're going to get fucking pasted if you really do it. I mean that. It's fucking October, even in Kentucky. It's football season.
You better tell them boys you don't want to go camping.
During college football season, I send out memos to the entire country:
Hello
Its Zip Goshboots again. it's college football season, so don't do the folowing:
Go camping
Die
Get Married
Have a baby
Call me
come over my house
worry about my lawn, winter's coming
worry about my leaves, winter's coming
talk to me
walk in front of the television
Thank you, and I'll see you in January!
Sincerely,
J Zipperton Goshboots III
Artermis 10-15-2007, 12:02 PM I love getting worked up over this stuff, but when you look at the big picture, it is a game, nothing more, nothing less.
Sorry but while I am a huge football fan, my family means more to me and I have been promised my kid if he was doing well in school, I would take him camping. I will tape the games and come home and watch them.
So it is not like I will miss anything.
Zip Goshboots 10-15-2007, 01:46 PM What kind of lesson are you teaching this kid? What if he's thinking "Yahoo! Camping! Starting monday, I go back to sleeping through classes!"
I say reward him with a camping trip when he graduates from college.

That is a direct violation of B-Diddy's rules. Posting 3-4 days after a game is unacceptable and if you wait that long, you are clearly hiding. LOL!
BTW, pretty bad when we have to start explaining our plans so we don't get crap for not posting in a timely manner. Isn't it our choice to be here?
Timone 10-15-2007, 02:38 PM http://www.sociology.osu.edu/UndergradProgram/Karyl/tressel.jpg
(just needed a reason to post that)
Artermis 10-15-2007, 02:46 PM My kid doesn't really care to watch TV too much. He likes playing sports.
I do not find watching football or any kind of sport fun with him as of yet because he doesnt really want to sit there and watch it.
We are taking this fall off from football/soccer thus it gives us time to camp.
Yeah I agree Tre, but I would hate for UM to lose, even though I have been saying for weeks (months?) that this was my biggest worry game left this season in terms of the spread.
I think MSU has a chance, very small chance. I would stack the box and make OSU QB beat me through the air. I am not convinced he can do that to any halfway decent team.

All I see are numbers...
bukdow 10-16-2007, 02:00 PM Well, here is how I see it. MSU`s offense will be the best OSU has seen this year, by far. The most balanced and the most talented. So, OSU`s gaudy defensive numbers don`t bother me so much.
Comparing OSU`s and MSU`s offenses, I would say MSU`s is better. MSU has more play makers and a better, more consistent QB.
The key to the game will be how well MSU`s defense plays. If it plays well enough to allow MSU`s offensive advantage to outweigh OSU`s defensive advantage (I believe OSU`s defense is better), MSU wins. If the defense doesn`t show up, MSU loses.
If the defense shows up, MSU 28 OSU 24. If MSU`s defense doesn`t show, MSU 17 OSU 35.
Hermy 10-16-2007, 02:45 PM I'm expecting a thrashing, 42-7 OSU. Not sure we can run on them as we have been vs. lesser teams. Gonna need 300+ yards on the ground to pull it out.
Zip Goshboots 10-16-2007, 04:39 PM MSU's gaudy offense hasn't seen A defense yet. Certainly not one like Ohio State's, Joel.
MSU's defense will show up, just like it did against Northworstern and Wisconsin. They are simply undermanned, and not very talented.
I'm saying right now (as opposed to next week) that if State keeps it within ten it will be a minor miracle.
No fucking way on this one.
So, head to Vegas and bet the house on Sparty.
Zip Goshboots 10-16-2007, 04:41 PM By the way, bukdow: This is Big Boy Message Boarding. Make a stand, don't impale yourself on a fence. Either you think they will win or not, no qualifiers.
Glenn 10-16-2007, 05:01 PM If the defense shows up, MSU 28 OSU 24. If MSU`s defense doesn`t show, MSU 17 OSU 35.
Classic! If they win, this will be the score and if they lose this will be the score, that's going out on a limb.
OSU big in this one, IMO, even if I don't think that they are the best team in the USA.
If MSU somehow wins, Dantonio deserves huge, huge props.
Zip Goshboots 10-16-2007, 05:23 PM That's why I think bukdow is really a Michigan Grad with a grudge against us WalMarties. Tre and Balkan have the guts to make a real prediction, not some wishy washy "I'm right either way" thing.
I also think that "prediction" by bukdow is a clear indication of bisexuality.
bukdow 10-16-2007, 10:05 PM I say the defense shows up and MSU wins 28-24
HipDigIt 10-17-2007, 08:37 PM The good news for the "Question Mark & Mysterion" MSU "D" is that Toddles Boeckman is on their preferred list of QB type to defend. The Toddler is not that mobile and Baldwin & St. Dic can get in his face. IU did not utilize Lewis' skills when they fell behind early last Saturday, that lil' fucking dwarf for Cheezitz and Bacher ran around like Fran Tarkentons. Boeckman won't/can't do that.
If MSU has ALL their OL to plug in they will be in it at the end. Before the 1st game in '06 MSU had as good an OL in the country. Then it started. Injury after injury. They made a TE a tackle and HE GOT HURT (Tom Kaczmarek), Gyetvai, Kenny Shane, and on and on....as of last week to the best of my knowledge they are ALL healthy. Trust me when I tell you that OSU has not seen this size and speed come at them. Certainly not in the form of fucking Akron, Youngstown State, and "4 Dead in Ohio". It won't be the "O" that will hinder MSU's chances. It's the "trick or treat" "D" and it will begin and end with the pass rush.
I think Sparty goes there feeling pretty good about their effort at Cheezits. They know they should have won that game now. Cheezitz isn't a really good team and those fucking slugs have finally been exposed after sometimes masquerading as a top 5 team. They are a good team though. As disappointing as NW was they cleared a hurdle in RESPONDING the next week against a 5-1 team. In years past they wouldn't have. I think they are headed in the right direction. I like the 17 points and they have a legit shot of beating these guys outright. OSU has MORE better players and the better coach but schmitt happens.
Zip Goshboots 10-19-2007, 11:17 AM So, Hip, you've gone, in one week, from thinking MSU couldn't beat Indiana AT HOME to thinking they can beat Ohio State in Columbus?
HipDigIt 10-19-2007, 11:51 AM So, Hip, you've gone, in one week, from thinking MSU couldn't beat Indiana AT HOME to thinking they can beat Ohio State in Columbus?
I took the points. The difference is that Lewis kid for Indy is a scrambler and when they fell behind early the coach thought they'd turn him into Peyton Manning. Huh? Toddles Boeckman is a big immobile guy. This favors MSU. Beat them? Unlikely. Legit shot? Yup. Whats' that saying though in the grand scheme of things?
Tahoe 10-20-2007, 03:45 PM Well that was easy 7-0 OSU. Come on MSU, gol damnit show up here.
Tahoe 10-20-2007, 04:22 PM This is not looking good for the home state, but lots of time left. 17-0 OSU.
Wilfredo Ledezma 10-20-2007, 05:16 PM I love watching the Spartans get mutilated...
Zip Goshboots 10-20-2007, 05:37 PM I say the defense shows up and MSU wins 28-24
Well, your prediction doesn't look that bad; Ohio State does have 24 points.
Timone 10-20-2007, 05:44 PM and Sparty's only 3 TDs away!
Timone 10-20-2007, 05:54 PM 2 TDs! BUKDOW!!
Zip Goshboots 10-20-2007, 06:39 PM bukdow and Hip know from their other board that if the other team turns it over, it doesn't count as good for your team. That's just the way it is. If Tressel listens to ol' Zip and just grinds it out, OSU would have shut them out. But Nooooo, he has to PASS!
Great comeback by Sparty. Very solid game against a very very good and well coached team.
It is clear that Dantonio is making a world of difference for that toilet on the banks of the Red Cedar. If he gets some talent, especially on defense, MSU will be very good very shortly.
Love that Ringer and that MSU all world offensive line, though.
Tahoe 10-20-2007, 06:57 PM Wow. The OSU dominance was kind of surprising. It wasn't as close as the score shows, or however that cliche goes.
If OSU finished this game, it would have been 44-0 or something. Once again, lil brothers Bowl game is playing Big Brother.
OSU is clearly #1.
Hermy 10-20-2007, 07:07 PM Wow. The OSU dominance was kind of surprising. It wasn't as close as the score shows, or however that cliche goes.
I don't think that is at all fair. This is a team plainning on 5-6 wins, and it got lucky enough to play into a game where they had to make some plays to take the #1 team in the nation into overtime.
Of course our team isn't good enough to make those kind of plays, meh.
Tahoe 10-20-2007, 07:13 PM I don't think that is at all fair. This is a team plainning on 5-6 wins, and it got lucky enough to play into a game where they had to make some plays to take the #1 team in the nation into overtime.

Fair enough. I can understand the 'hey, we were only down 7', but to me it just wasn't that close. I see what you mean, the expectations at the beginging of the season were NOT good, so sort of a victory.
Zip Goshboots 10-20-2007, 07:26 PM Bullshit expectations were not that much. Every Sparty on the planet is and has been predicting a bowl game from the get go, and most were saying this would be a 7-8 win season, and some were predicting a Sparty win today.
As far as the Talking Heads in the media, well, they also ranked UM #5 to start the season, and just about guranteed a USC-LSU nayshinal championship game.
Hermy 10-20-2007, 07:53 PM Bullshit expectations were not that much. Every Sparty on the planet is and has been predicting a bowl game from the get go, and most were saying this would be a 7-8 win season, and some were predicting a Sparty win today.
The planet what? Tre was the first one I heard go over 6. I was called a slappy for saying 6.
HipDigIt 10-21-2007, 09:52 AM Ha-ha-ha...Sorry to disappoint the bloateds. Gee the team picked to finish last by all the experts lose to the #1 team in the country 24-17? I'm stunned & heartbroken but taking the +19 put a few $$$ in my pocket so there's that.
Ohio State has a terrific "D" and they showed me something. Fundamentally sound, they "stay home" and they totally stuffed MSU's run attempts. Uh, Coach Dantonio. I get you wanted to establish the run all else be damned but this was out of some fucking Knute Rockne book. Run the 1st two downs and pass on 3rd and 6. Disappointing and a great way to not put Hoyer in a position to succeed.
Telling was that with MSU within 7 with 3 minutes and change Dantonio passes on any on side kick attempt. To this point you have to think "HE WANTS PEOPLE WHO HAVE MADE A PLAY THIS DAY" to be on the field so he kicked away. The party was then officially over. I can't argue with the reasoning. That said the tackling or the MSU version, waving arms, reaching and flailing, was equally responsible for the loss. If anybody on that fucking team with the exception of Greg Jones #53, could tackle "Beanie" Wells has about 100 yards instead of 200+. It's embarrassing that so called scholarship athletes this far along in their careers perform so patheticall in one of the most fundamental facets of the game.
I still say 7-5 and a bowling Sparty goes. Dr. Goshboots I'm boning up on my Chris Hitchens. He's nearly as irreverent as you. I likey.
Tahoe 10-21-2007, 12:01 PM Experts Schmexperts! Who cares. MSU was manhandled. They had a lil spurt their where they had the mo...2 possessions? maybe 3 over a 3 minute span. Other than that OSU talent and play was pretty obvious to me. And thats not easy to say, cuz I hate OSU.
Balkan 10-21-2007, 01:06 PM Experts Schmexperts! Who cares. MSU was manhandled.
You definiton of being manhandled is grossly inacurrate to be applied to this game. The way I saw it the Spartan defense woke up for a few minutes in the 4th Quarter and chipped away at the OSU offense. However, I agree with Hip that Dantonio's decision to stay with the run program and not allow Hoyer to pass was mystifying. What did Dantonio see to make him keep running I don't know.
b-diddy 10-21-2007, 01:11 PM this game was over 7 minutes into the game. as buckdow might start a seperate thread for, tressel took his foot off the gas. sparty for not 10 seconds in this game had a legit chance at winning. tahoe is right, the score is grossly missleading to the actual game.
HipDigIt 10-21-2007, 01:23 PM "tressel took his foot off the gas."
Astute observation, as evidenced by Boeckman connecting for a bomb in the 3rd quarter. Whatever. Final score will show 24-17. Sorry to disappoint. Spin it to the pitter-patter of your blue & yellow Harts. Oh and good luck staying within 7 at your dump.
HipDigIt 10-21-2007, 01:32 PM "Experts Schmexperts! Who cares."
After all they did have you annual overrated gasbags #5. Look how well that worked out.
Tahoe 10-21-2007, 01:34 PM Just callin em the way I see em. I wanted MSU to win the game, I hate OSU.
Feeling good, or bad, about your team's play based on preseason polls is spin, imo.
Zip Goshboots 10-21-2007, 01:51 PM One of the things I have to commend Dantonio on is the overall character of the team. We ALL know how that game would have ended up in years past, and we ALL know what would have happened at Indiana last week.
But Dantonio has instilled a strong will in this team. They do not give up, and don't let things snowball. They show plenty of their own resilience. At this point, if I'm MSU, I'm giving serious thought to making Dantonio Emperor of Lansing. He is well on the way to changing the entire culture of MSU football.

After 40 years of slamming your dick in a door jam not a moment too soon.
Tahoe 10-21-2007, 01:57 PM You have to give the guy a few years to recruit his guys before you can really judge the guy. I saw a disparity in talent in the game. MSU has superior talent in BBall, but not Football, yet.
Zip Goshboots 10-21-2007, 02:05 PM Well, right now I don't think it's too soon to start giving Dantonio an A grade for this season, barring an unlikely collapse. He still has to play UM and Penn State, and find two wins in between, and the two wins are going to (IMO) have to come in "trap" games: at Iowa and at Purdue.
I think the Spartans can rightly feel that they did have a serious chance. They got back into the game by forcing two key turnovers. Yes, Boeckman didn't pick up the blitz, but I'm not sure he could have done anything the way they came after him on those two plays.
Again, we have the patented MSU "Format for Foot Shooting" at Iowa next week, but I can't see them losing to this Iowa team, which is terrible. Their last three are going to be real tough, but right now they have to be feeling very confident.
Tahoe 10-21-2007, 02:20 PM "Experts Schmexperts! Who cares."
After all they did have UofM ranked #5. Look how well that worked out.
My point exactly and said it a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for agreeing with me. I said a couple of weeks ago about what they thought about UofM.
You sparties are full of spin. Your thinking is that we should feel our season is over a couple of games in, and your season is going great cuz 'the experts said we'd only win 4 games'.
Stick with facts...AT THIS POINT IN TIME...UofM 4-0, Sparties 1-3.

Those are some pretty good facts, and not ones anybody thought we'd see a few short ridiculous losses ago.
b-diddy 10-21-2007, 02:33 PM uhh, not so fast. not everyone gave up on the season after our 0-2 start. i believe i got a lecture on talking shit from doctre about it. when tre shows up again (my guess is sometime around MSU basketball's season opener), maybe he'll back me up on this one.
Tahoe 10-21-2007, 02:38 PM Not sure if you are misreading this or not, but I don't think any UofMer gave up on the season. Its the sparties that think that is how we should feel.
Your thinking is that we should feel our season is over a couple of games in

Or maybe it's touchy. If MSU being 1-3 and you being 4-0 in the "Boffo 11" blows your hair back, excellent. Fact is your season is OVER. It was over when Appleatin' State applied the flogging and Quack-quack rolled the corpse to the curb. Roll on in the "Boffo 11" because it will determine what bowl you'll go to so there's that.
Now that you have the requisite two losses I don't give two dead flies about "your" season. God knows 95% of "your" fan base is unsufferable enough with those. My God read this shit. Another loss or two and the noise level gets just about to where it should be.
b-diddy 10-21-2007, 02:56 PM over??? uh, no. what the FUCK are you talking about?
1) some might say we're the favorites to go to the rose bowl. so, uh, not a bad prize, especially for an "over" season.
2) the michigan checklist looks something like this:
a)beat osu
b)win big ten
c)win bowl
d)beat nd
e)beat msu
note: no where on there does beating ASU or oregon state show up. we can actually achieve all our goals (national championship aside). only in sparty's mind was 2 preseason losses (regardless of how bad) the end of our season.
3) if a couple of crappy losses ended a season, how does sparty still even have a football program?

Why don't I believe this? You hate UofM. You like to call them names for chrissakes, lol. I don't dislike MSU, sorry I can't fit your prejudice of a UofM fan. MSU football sucks right now, but I don't dislike them.
It looks like you are all worked up and in a bit of a tizzy cuz you got hit with some facts. Go cool off for a while. I'm not the enemy, your football program is.

I say touchy???? You're the one all worked up "projecting" how an MSU fan thinks. What a stitch. Your A4 is showing. I am fine with this years progress. I'm a realist. I'm not a Blue-Ade guzzler. Besides I only hate the FB program. Cool you picked up on that after 3-4 months. So sue me. As pathetic as that hoop program of yours is you didn't find me dogpiling on that woeful rabbit the last several years. This is a practice of the A2 football fan. MSU is the last domain you own in your striving for regional power. OSU owns your ass and _______________(fill in bowl team opponent) so by all means whoof about owning a program that has been shit for 40 years. Hey, it's all you got. I get that. No problem here but after you do it don't get all hurt because I remind you.
Tahoe 10-21-2007, 03:22 PM Good luck with your season.
HipDigIt 10-21-2007, 03:52 PM Good luck with your season.
"My" season will be made if Sparty goes bowling and Zip Goshboots has to send me Christopher Hitchens new book...(I send him if they don't). It's the little things in life.
Wilfredo Ledezma 10-21-2007, 06:49 PM The final score was closer than the game really was...nobody on the Spartans offense impressed me at all...O-Line is awful, and Brian Hoyer still looks like a backup QB to me...
1-3
Glenn 10-22-2007, 04:31 PM The score indicates a nice effort by the Sparties, but if you watched the game (I caught most of it) then you know that it is a bit misleading. Total yards were 422 to 185, how often does that happen and you only lose by 7?
Only 59 yards rushing for the vaunted MSU rushing attack, so we see what happened when they played a legit defense.
But if you ignore the facts and just look at the score, nice effort, Sparties.
MSU is a bit underrated nationally, not a lot, but a bit.
OSU is vastly overrated nationally, not their D, which is sound, no doubt, but I think they'll trip up somewhere before the end of the regular season. At least one of these teams is going to get them, IMO:
Sat, Oct 27 at (24) Penn State 8:00 pm --
Sat, Nov 3 Wisconsin TBA --
Sat, Nov 10 Illinois TBA --
Sat, Nov 17 at (19) Michigan 12:00 pm
b-diddy 10-22-2007, 05:07 PM osu's secondary looked suspect to me. combine that with henne to manningham starting to really click, and im thinking henne does not go 0-4 in the rivalry. and even though ringer is so much better than hart, i suspect hart manages to still get 120+ and a td.
Tahoe 10-22-2007, 06:24 PM OSU is vastly overrated nationally, IMO:
I sure as hell hope so(vastly overrated), but they cleary deserve the #1 ranking right now. They started at 12(?) and they're undefeated and everyone ahead of them has lost. A trend that I hope does NOT continue.
Timone 10-01-2011, 11:40 AM Nothing to lose. I absolutely love this opportunity! I'm going bold right now. Let me be the first to predict the Spartans will upset the unranked Buckeyes on Saturday on National Television giving them a monumental victory in Dantonio's young career at MSU.
DrRay11 10-01-2011, 05:48 PM lol @ O$U
Timone 10-01-2011, 06:24 PM rofl @ JERK Cousins!!
Glenn 10-01-2011, 06:35 PM It's not over.
It'll never be over.
Tahoe 10-01-2011, 09:56 PM I didn't see it. Defensive battle or do both teams suck?
