View Full Version : OGT: MSU vs. Indiana
Baker 10-14-2007, 01:50 AM I thought I'd go Diddy style and start the thread once I realized my team would win. MSU looked great. Offense was stellar as always and the defense was much improved. Kick coverage was awful and it is starting to piss me off. MSU was projected 5 wins by everybody not wearing green, so I guess everything from this point on is exceeding expectations. I'm drooling at the thought of playing @ OSU with them being ranked #1. What a great opportunity!
I'll finish this post with a B-Diddy quote from earlier today. He of course didn't show up afterwards to at least admit he was wrong and/or a pussy.

with basketball starting up, and state's third loss in a row tonight, fanshaw will probably be taking a long vacation from posting in football threads. and since i wont pay too much attention to bball, i guess i wont have too many more opportunities to call you a dancing bear.
Good call pussy, care to eat your words?

The problem with kick coverage was Boleski`s kick offs. They had no hang time and were booted right to the guy standing on the 20 yard line. The coverage couldn`t get down the field fast enough. If I remember correctly, Boleski only had one touch-back all night.
The offense was very good and the defense played very well after the initial breakdown. The team got a little sloppy at the end of the 3rd quarter, but shut IU out in the 4th. All in all, a very well played game.
One more thing Tre, what the hell do you expect from a bunch of Wal-Mart Wolverines? These people are the lowest of the low in the sports world. Those who follow a team only because that team wins. It is an indictment against their character. Maybe you want to play nicey-nicey and not use such language (not saying you necessarily do), but I prefer to tell it like it is, the blue and yellow blow-hards suck. Plain and simple.
Zip Goshboots 10-14-2007, 10:38 AM Tre: You are the master at talking shit when no one else is around and no longer cares. This thread is pure hypocrisy. You chastise diddy and then start one after State wins. Good call, you model of self righteous hypocrisy.
You didn;t start it because you were cowering under your bed, playing with your miniature Tom Izzo Midget of Iron Mountain Action Figures, diagramming plays for Dantonio to use against the Hoosiers. You were scared that State would lose, and you lacked the guts and courage to start an OGT because of that.
Now, guess what? That was States FIRST "Big Win".
Why? Because they had lost two in a row, and Indiana defiled them last year. I mean, last years game was worse than bukdow's intitiation into the Delta Psi Zeta fraternity, where he had to go to Tijuana and pick up a hooker and bring him back to Ann Arbor, but wound up in a bathtub full of ice with a kidney, his spleen, and four fingers missing. But I digress.
Big Win #1 in the books for the Sparties, as they stopped the tailspin against a fairly presentable (even if on perpetual life support) football team.
Two more games until the "Steel Cage Death Match". Are you going? I just may see you there.
HipDigIt 10-14-2007, 10:45 AM I had IU +4.5 last night. I like to call it my famous reverse mojo play. Had I played MSU they'd have reverted to form. A small price to pay. The stuff I've read said Narduzzi & Coach D had them hitting all week injury be damned. It looked like it last night. Look I'm no fucking guzzler like those jagoffs on the other side of the aisle who are all gang raping a phone line to Canton because they beat fucking Purdon't. MSU, despite being 3-16 in their last 19 Big 10 games HAS MORE TALENT THAN HOOSIER FUCKING DADDY. THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO BEAT B-10 SWILL LIKE THIS. 3-16, the last 19 shows you how that's been working out. This was no signature win but it was a MUST win. Looks like Treadwell got my memo and gave Ringer his touches. 200+. Uh, huh. I'm very pleased in that winning games YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO WIN is the way to right the ship. Great effort and determination. Nice win to go into C-Bus all "everything to win and nothing to lose." I think they'll give them a game.

I'm going. Are you? Flying up ythe 1st and staying for a week or so.

Zip, did you read my first post? I flat out said I was going to do a Diddy. I was basically mocking him making this post. Do you really think I sat around waiting to see the outcome when I just called Diddy on doing that? It is called sarcasm my friend. I thought you'd get that when I opened my post with "I'm going to do a Diddy." I thought even you would find comedy in it.
Zip Goshboots 10-14-2007, 12:59 PM I thought you meant you were going to "diddle" yourself again.
You aren't smart enough to do sarcasm.

If you didn't see his post, even Tre said this was 'Garbage', so you are on your own with this one, trout nose. And so did Hip.
Baker 10-14-2007, 03:06 PM Let's try something new. What if we talk about the topic?
Devin Thomas was fantastic again yesterday and his performance got my Wolverine buddy and I talking. I wonder is Thomas will be first team All Big Ten. We tried to think of someone having a better year from the WR position and we were having a hard time. We thought Mario will get in the conversation although not having a great year due to QB situation. We thought Indy's boy would be in the conversation. I hear Illinois has a stud, but not familiar with him.
From being the BT's best return man thus far (best avg.), to the high number of receptions, to the big plays coming from doing it after the catch or going deep-Thomas proved to me he's All BT material.
Zip Goshboots 10-14-2007, 04:33 PM And let me say this Tre:
I disagree with Hip that this win wasn't big. It may be that Sparty should beat the Horrible Hoosiers annually, but they do not. And in years past, with the team sliding, they probably would have lost this one.
They won it, and won it easily.
take it from Nebraska: This was big for emotional reasons more than anything else. Sparty could not afford to lose this game, and to trounce the Hoosiers will help this team forget Wiscy and the other team they lost to. See? it made me forget the other team they lost to, and I hate Sparty!

I think I said it wasn't a "signature" win like beating Ohio State, M, or even Cheezitz. I DID say it was a MUST win. They has to affirm that they would not lose to shit like Indy any longer. This is was a game they're supposed to win and they did. I'm not buying a case of Chrystal over it.
Zip Goshboots 10-14-2007, 05:20 PM Well, it was worth a couple of shots of Cuervo, if nothing else.

I agree. It stopped the slide. It was one they would've lost the last couple of years. It was a win against a 5-1 opponent no matter who they've played. It was an important win. Not signature, but important. The signature win comes this weekend.
Glenn 10-15-2007, 11:02 AM Is it too late to start an OGT for the 2004 Pistons/Lakers NBA Finals Game 5?
MoTown 10-15-2007, 11:17 AM Pistons by 13... book it.
