Just saw it on the bottom line. Surgery revealed a torn labrum and he should be healthy by opening day.
Let's keep him off the outfield this year.

View Full Version : Sheffield has surgery on torn labrum DrRay11 10-09-2007, 12:34 PM Just saw it on the bottom line. Surgery revealed a torn labrum and he should be healthy by opening day. Let's keep him off the outfield this year. Tahoe 10-09-2007, 01:12 PM 1st base is definately taken care of next year. CG, maybe an occasional Pudge sighting, Thames, Sheff? Thank God we have the DH to play with. Glenn 10-09-2007, 01:16 PM Better than a torn labia, I suppose. Timone 10-09-2007, 01:16 PM Sheffield doesn't want to play 1B. Glenn 10-09-2007, 01:16 PM Nor should he. Timone 10-09-2007, 01:19 PM lol cogent. Tahoe 10-09-2007, 01:30 PM Yea, no way he should. Who ever said that? Timone 10-09-2007, 01:38 PM probably bukdow, wouldn't put it past him. Fool 10-09-2007, 01:40 PM That's a tenuous charge. RegicideGreg 10-09-2007, 01:46 PM Better than a torn labia, I suppose. How did I know Glenn was gonna mention a torn labia? Glenn 10-09-2007, 01:48 PM How did I know Glenn was gonna mention a torn labia? Because you are :cogent: Tahoe 10-09-2007, 02:12 PM If it came down to getting his bat in the lineup or not playing, he should play there. Lets say Mags has an injury and can only DH and Shef can't throw from the outfield. 1st base (the pasture) is where most aging or hurt players go. Glenn 10-09-2007, 02:14 PM I think Guillen is going to be there 150+ games next year, barring injury. |
