Anybody listening to Rome a few minutes ago?

They were talking about LeBron wearing the Yanks hat last night in Cleveland and some guy called in and said "LeBron wearing a Yankees hat in Cleveland is just about as bad as showing up at a party with a boner wearing sweatpants".

Rome cut him off with the manual buzzer, but he's been fighting off losing it ever since. Some funny emails flying in about it now.

It was a funny exchange that had me laughing aloud for several minutes, so I was just wondering if anyone else heard it.

Now that just doesn't make sense...a boner can't wear sweatpants...

I think that proves how big of a tool LeBron is. I hate to get too in depth here, but you'll see the Pistons at Tigers and Lions games supporting their team, Tigers at all three arenas sporting the colors, and the same for the Lions and Wings. All the fans love that shit. All the coaches support a "we're in this together" mentality and fans eat it up.

Then there's LeBron. He thinks he doesn't have to worry about the fans. I don't care if he likes the Yankees, but go to the ballpark wearing an Indians hat. He's oviously too good to worry about his home town.

Speaking of the Rome show, I don't know if you guys were listening yesterday, but he interviewed Gil Arenas. Agent Zero is now my favorite non-Piston. He's such a positive guy and well spoken, but he is crazy as shit. I can't believe some of the ridiculous comments that came out of his mouth. The guys just seems to be in a good mood all of the time. It's the first interview I've heard that just sounded like him and Rome hanging out. He gave girlfriend advice and admitted he sleeps 3 hours a night so he can play video games for 10-12 hours a day.

I like Arenas off the court, basketball wise I'm not taking anything he says seriously. Dude guarantees to drop 50 against Portland and ends up scoring 9.

I can't stand Arenas after the jerk he was in that 3 point contest with Stevenson.

And I agree. Lebron can be a Yankee fan but I wouldn't wear that hat to an Indians game.

I can see Chauncey supporting Denver/CO, or Rasheed supporting Philly. But that's where they are from. What kind of connection does Lebron have to NYC?

That's right.

Rome: "I do know this much; hanging dogs or drowning dogs because they don't want to bite another dogs ears off or fight to their death, isn't worth 100 million and your freedom"

Classic.

I still laugh thinking about yesterday when Roger Lodge called Tony Gwynn Ruben Studdard.

Rome's talking about Herschel Walker wanting to make a NFL comeback.
