Does this bench trio have the potential of being the most exciting in the NBA? What they lack in experience, they certainly can make up for in athleticism and explosiveness. We all know what to expect from the starters, but this bench has got me so eager to see them in action. I really wish we'd just get rid of the dead weight like Lindsey and CWebb and just commit to the youth movement off the bench. As long as the coaching crew has the "seasoned vets" on the bench, they'll look to them in big games or tight moments. I worry about that.

I can see Amir and Mad Max having a block party, swatting shit left and right. Amir and Maxiell running the floor and catching alley-oops from Stuckey? Stuckey's going to overpower backup PGs like Chauncey does. me likes.

dont know about the thread's title, but i think this bench could be the most helpful since 04. youth, but talented. if they bring back the 'alternators' mentality, they could be special.

which is interesting, because with dyess in the starting 5, our starters might be near 04 levels, too. unfortunatly we still have flip as coach. otherwise, i might think a finals trip could be in order again.

I saw the thread title and thought this was a Langlois article.

They'll be more exciting than Delfino, Hunter and Dale Davis, for sure.

G-State looks to be fun from 1-15. But I am excited to watch the crazy throwdowns.

I am not judging anything about this team until April.

Exciting, sure. Productive, we'll have to wait and see.

I am looking through the depth charts and I don't see too many more exciting benches (we are not talking best benches here).

The Bucks have Bell/Yi/Simmons that could be very explosive.

The Wolves have a lot of young talent on their bench (Telfair, Gomes, McCants, Green, Jaric)

Like I said there are probably a lot better benches, but those are the 2 that I saw that could produce the most excitement with us.

Was that McCloud in the first clip?

I hope Max can become a regular contributer this year, because there's no one on this team that can energize like him.

Stuckey looks a lot like Ray Allen on those higlights. I'm not sure he's a lights out shooter like Allen, but he is more smooth on his dribble drives than the wreckless crap that Wade does. He also reminded me a little of Nash on those dribbles (but not quite the passer I am sure). The comparison to Nash comes from his ability to hesitate and let player's momentum carry them past him before continuing to the basket (Nash is great at that, rarely beating a guy with simple foot speed, but keeping them off balence the whole time and using their momentum). Wade simply attacks the basket without hesitation, and will eventually end his career from it. Stuckey seems to have that slippery smooth body control where he keeps his defender off balence just enough that he doesn't have to totally break them down. I hope he has the range of Allen.

Wade is like the Wile E. Coyote of the NBA. He comes up with a crazy scheme to get at the basket, then he drives into a crowd, there's an explosion, and there's Dwyane Wade standing there covered in soot with body parts crumbling off, and finally he collapses into his Acme brand sneakers. I guess I have to admire his bravery, but one day he's going to end his career by throwing himself at gigantic men who have had exactly enough of his shit.
