Not a good sign for Philly when your ace is down 3-0 and has thrown 70+ pitches through 3 innings.

Jeff Francis is filthy.

The Rockies have helped him out the last couple innings though. 84 pitches through 5 innings. I hope they can add another 20 pitches in the 6th and get into their bullpen early with a game at 5:00 tomorrow.

Philly's ERA is 4th worst in the NL, not sure how the starters vs bullpen factors in though.

Back to back HRs by Rowand and Burrell. This team is fun to watch when they get it going.

Feel free to share why.

They boo absoltely everything. When the Phillies were ahead, they were booing every walk. They booed (and cheered) their pitcher as he walked off of the field WITH THE LEAD. Of course they booed when the Rockies took the lead, and I LOLed when they booed Mesa right from the get-go.

I'd be a Phillies fan, but I think my outlook on life is a little too positive.

"Mesa sucks! Mesa sucks! Mesa sucks!" cracked me up.

LOL I'll watch for that.

I'd be careful though, Philly is now the murder capital of the world. Don't piss those guys off.

Watching Philly fans suffer (all sports) is way more enjoyable than watching Boston fans suffer IMO. I deal with an annoying Eagles fan on a daily basis and can't help but want McNabb to hurt his pussy again every friggin' week.

This is relevent to the NL playoffs because the Phillies are about to go down 0-2.

Since my predictions are going to shit, and after learning that they decided, as a team, to give Mike Coolbaugh's (http://wtfdetroit.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9848) family a full playoff share, I may have to pull for the Rockies to win it all.

That's pretty cool of the players.

No, but unlike your tenous connection to UM, I was there when the Diamondbacks were franchised. Can you say the same for the Wolverines?

The Mountains pull their team off the field cuz the Snakes fans throwing stuff on the field after a bad call.

The funny part was that it was actually a very good call.

Imagine if the Rockies somehow win it all and they are referred to as "the Colorado Rockies, defending WS champs"

Glenn

I hope that happens, in all honesty.

What was Stephen Drew thinking last night? " I didn't see a call, I thought I was out so I jog off base"???? Come on guys, pull it together.

Vacant headed move? Yes, but if he did stay on 2nd, the next batter hit one to the SS side of 2nd, and it would have been an easy dp, imo.

The traveshammochery was the friggin relief pitcher who walked 3 (consecutive?) batters in the 10th and gave up a hit in the mix somewhere, to give them the lead with ONE HIT. Either that pitcher or the mgr that left him in, should be catching some hell in the papers today.

Balkan

Sigh, the Diamondbacks give up and the Rockies get their chance. If they blow it, I will know they were a fluke.
