I don't know where exactly, but budkow used "tenuous, at best" to describe the WalMart Wolverines' connections to U of M, and "cogent" in a post directed at diddy.

giffman isn't in the tournament of cool because he IS the tournament of cool. Our tournament is just to see who's second best.

I am cheering for them now. And yes, my connection would be tenuous with them right now. I would say until I have my Colorado DL it would be tenuous.

I will still root for the Tigers (they are not same leagues, so it's not like rooting for the Bulls and the Pistons or something like that), and that would not be tenuous.

But if you've never played organized baseball you are not allowed to root for either of them.

when you say organized, are we talking any level, or did we have to play professionally. and if were talking professionally, does that include independent leagues, or should it only be MLB affiliated? and if its MLB affiliated, are we talking any level, or just the majors?

what if you made it to the allstar team, but were an injury replacement, and didnt actually get in the game? but lets also say you tried extremely hard to get in the game? are you still tenuous?

So I was driving in Kalamazoo last night and I'm heading north on US131 and I notice a Wal-Mart billboard that reads "Support your school, for less" and it features a large picture of a Western Michigan hooded sweatshirt.
