View Full Version : Computer expert needed
smorg79 09-13-2007, 03:05 PM I am looking for the resident computer experts on the board. I am having a problem with one specific website and can access all other sites. My friends and family can access the site with no trouble. The only person who can't access it is my brother who has his own computer, but is in the same house and I think our computers are connected some how. My stepdad can access the site from his house, but when he came over and hooked his computer up at my house he could not access the site. Please help I am going crazy!
Glenn 09-13-2007, 04:04 PM LOL at joining a Detroit sports forum just so they can help you with your problems connecting to another Detroit sports forum.
I'm sure someone here will try to help you, smorg, don't fret.
Your IP is most likely blocked from that site. What type of ISP do you have... DSL, cable, dial-up?
Someone that either had your IP did something bad on the site, or you may want to look at people in your house who may have pissed off the site.
Zip Goshboots 09-13-2007, 09:03 PM I think that you probably jerked off into your computer while looking at porn, and now it's completely fucked up. That's why I go to the public library for my porn 'n jerk. If I fuck up a computer, it isn't mine.
Next Question?

Jeezus H Christ, what a loser. You're blocked. You pissed off the Moderator, probably a Sparty. Probably a queer. Could be an Islamofascist, someone who hates America, the land of the free, home of the brave. Probably a commie pinko libral. Probably in the union, and maybe he was kicked out of the Army for being light in the loafers. Probably hates God. I bet he hates Apple Pie, and drives a Toyota.
Move on, join this site. It's where REAL men meet REAL men for fun and pleasure.

It cracks me up when someone comes to a board for help and never shows up again.

Zip Goshboots 09-17-2007, 11:22 AM I think it's time for a Tom Jones Pic of the Day thread.

I hate it when these guys who have been around a while prove me wrong too.
I'm leaving this thread red faced, never to return.
Glenn 09-17-2007, 01:42 PM smorg79 is a gal, not a guy
Which makes Zip's posts in this thread even more funny.

OMG...that IS funny. No wonder there weren't replies from the author.
Glenn 09-17-2007, 01:48 PM Props to Fraserburn for the creative hint, btw.
smorg79 09-17-2007, 02:36 PM Nah don't leave. I am a female, but don't worry about it. I am also not a troll, just a bit of a sports addict.

Herm?
Glenn 09-18-2007, 08:40 AM I know there were a few more at the original WTF site.
Pistonsgirl was somebody's girlfriend (bstein?)
UniqueMiss313's first and only post is the now famous "Shout Outs" thread
There are probably more, maybe Herm remembers.
Also, smorg seems pretty cool, so hopefully she sticks around.
Damn forgot the shout outs thread. That's what happens when all the Austrians flee the country.
Glenn 09-18-2007, 08:45 AM Just scanning the member list there are quite a few in there, some of which never posted (I wonder why? lol).
There was one gal that was a huge Tayshaun fan, too, maybe "saisai" or something like that?
Timone 09-18-2007, 08:57 AM I am looking for the resident cyber experts on the board.
Fixed.
Timone 09-18-2007, 08:58 AM Was she hot Glenn?
Glenn 09-18-2007, 09:19 AM Hard to tell in a PM.
smorg79 09-18-2007, 12:12 PM Geez this thread really got OT.
MoTown 09-18-2007, 12:21 PM You'll find it's rare here to find a thread that stays on topic.
This is just the tip of the iceburg.
Welcome, btw.
Wonderful twist on the throwback Mo.
Glenn 09-18-2007, 12:27 PM Where does he find all of these wonderful toys?
MoTown 09-18-2007, 12:27 PM Yeah Mola's got my back.
You can thank him for the feeling of nausea.

Zip Goshboots 09-18-2007, 12:56 PM Smorq, are you a Sparty or a Wolverine?
Your existence depends on giving the right Wolveranswer.

More importantly, did you 'attend' the university or just cheer? Some here have standards for ties to universities. I'm hoping you attended and not just some tenuous relationship to your favorite teams. :)

Threads here fall off topic more often than Tom Sizemore falls off the wagon

smorg79 09-18-2007, 02:03 PM I didn't attend either MSU or U of M. I tend to side with Sparty since my dad is an alum and grew up with his hatred of U of M. I don't really get too involved in the U of M vs. Mich thing.
Glenn 09-18-2007, 02:08 PM Sounds tenuous, in any case.
I don't really get too involved in the U of M vs. Mich thing.
Phi Delts vs the Betta Phi's. What a blood bath.
