so long C-Mo.....at times you were awesome. It's great that he at least went to the Cubs.

How many PTBNL do we have coming now.....3?

I think we should get a whole team to be named later.

I love the trade. I liked Monroe but he just can't consistantly put the bat on the ball plus we have some great players to take his spot. I was bummed when Maroth got traded but he has been shit since so it was a great move. Now we have all of these PTBNL choices and we already have a good minor league system. The Tigers looks great as an organization. Now if they can only win............

Aww shit, now I have to find a new Tiger. I guess I know who "my Cub" is now. And I've never really understood the concept of a PTBNL. How do you trade away someone when you don't know who you're getting in return? Do the Tigers have a few guys in mind and then they get with the Cubs later to decide?

Yeah and I think it all depends on how Monroe performs as a Cub.

Craig Monroe goes to a team witha plethura of OF's (Jacque Jones, Alfonso Soriano, Felix Pie, Matt Murton, Cliff Floyd, and Mark DeRosa)...how the hell is he going to get AB's...

if Craig's not playing everyday...thats when he becomes a sub .200 hitter...Piniella should use him as a starter...he's better than each of the guys i named except for Alfonso...who is hurt anyway

Maybe he'll help out our bullpen. Can't get much worse.

What are they teaching their batters that we aren't?

Was he batting in front of a pitcher?

Maybe it was off a tee. Ball just kept falling off and rolling outside the strike zone.
