Im not sure..On Friday we were supposed to go to Melvindale vs Marine City. But my friend got cut of on 75 near saginaw and rolled his work truck and blew out his MCL, tore his rotator cuff and broke 3 ribs..He is having surgery today on the knee.. So needless to say, we will stay around the south lyon area..Im looking at SL vs Northville on Friday...Sat we are probably going to ypsi..I really want to see Canton vs Toledo CC... Novi CC's game is on Friday right?

Detroit Catholic Central vs Detroit Southeastern
Mike Martin, Fred Smith and Charles Burrell are the headliners, but the game will come down to quarterback play. CC has the experience edge there, but expect a close one.
Prediction: Detroit Catholic Central - 21, Detroit Southeastern - 17
Detroit Renaissance vs University of Detroit Jesuit
U of D has some young stars coming up and RB George Winn will be a test for the Phoenix, but Renaissance simply has too many athletes.
Prediction: Renaissance - 28, U of D Jesuit - 13
East Grand Rapids vs GR Ottawa Hills
State champs EGR has to retool, but QB Cal Blair shouldn't miss a beat and RB Robert Bell should be fine running the ball. Ottawa Hills has talent, but maybe not the discipline just yet.
Prediction: EGR - 24, Ottawa Hills - 14
Grandville vs Grand Ledge
The Bulldogs travel to Grand Ledge where they'll have to face superstar WR/RS James Jackson. He'll make some big plays, but Grandville has the stronger overall team. This will be a good game though.
Prediction: Grandville - 35, Grand Ledge - 28
Zeeland West vs Hamilton
Can the Dux do it again? Although they've lost 3/4 backfield starters in their wing-T, FB Andy Plaska should be ready to carry the load and they'll be too tough up front for the Hawkeyes.
Prediction: Zeeland West - 35, Hamilton - 14
Marine City vs Melvindale
A nice early season matchup here, Marine City QB Brendon Kay should have some success through the air, but the Cardinals can throw it around too with WRs Danny McKinney and Cameron Gordon. The difference will be who can eliminate the early season mistakes.
Prediction: Marine City - 14, Melvindale -12
Highland Park vs Dearborn
Another strong early matchup, Dearborn and QB Anthony Mifsud can throw the ball all over the field, but the Polar Bears have a strong secondary lead by safety Jonathan Dandridge. Highland Park is more physical, but Dearborn may have the X's and O's advantage. Expect a close one.
Prediction: Highland Park - 21, Dearborn - 17
Hudsonville vs Traverse City West
Two programs who have a lot of success meet in this early season long distance matchup. TC West is tough up front with Darren Keyton and Rocko Khoury, but the Eagle skill players, QB Casey Blackport and RB Jordan Jonker should be enough to put them over the top.
Prediction: Hudsonville 20, TC West - 14
Davison vs Lowell
Two perrenial powers matchup as Torsten Boss makes his quarterbacking debut for Lowell. Davison has too much coming back and the experience factor should carry them through this game. If they meet again down the road, the result might be different.
Prediction: Davison - 30, Lowell - 21
